I've just started shaving with a straight razor and wanted a double edged safety razor for parts of my body I can't with a straight razor. I've always hated electric razors, disposables and cartridges. I even grow a beard so I don't have to shave. They all did their job but didn't feel good. I just ordered this Grandslam as it is affordable and I needed a wooden handle. Just tried it for the first time - I will never use a modern razor again. Good quality product. Good weight, durable, blades feel good. It gave a great shave out of the box. The instructions that come with it are written in poor English, which is funny ("Barthals") but feels more personal given that the owner tells how he started the company. I would recommend this product without hesitation.
