The handle is a bit thick. Before you shave, be sure to use shaving foam or a strong foaming soap, otherwise you will get a severe stab from the razor. It's a beautiful piece and stays together. Comes with lots of spare parts I would need to buy a razor for at least a year. It takes some practice to find the right angle so you don't cut your legs or forearms.

This is a gift for my father and he loves it. I bought one for my husband at a nearby mall and paid $169 for it! Another $60 for additional blades! I know right, YIKES! This purchase was not that expensive and serves its purpose perfectly. In the box was a great set of everything and instructions. Great though!

It only lasted 2 months and the screw broke when you turn it to replace the blade. Ordered on 12.6. Only on 21.08. The return date was August 5th. Should last a lot longer.

The length is the only thing I like about this razor. The blades are difficult to install. Instead of a case that opens when you unscrew it, you have to disassemble the entire top to insert a new blade. It's very scary to put in a new blade because you have to twist the top part yourself! Watch your fingers! If I hadn't used it yet I would definitely return it. I hadn't used a double-edged razor like this in years and figured changing the blade would be just as easy as the one I had a few years

Simply put, the design was overdue. The product feels nice and looks good, but this isn't the type where you unscrew the bottom and the top butterfly pops open. They are safer for younger men when changing blades and are easier to assemble. I like the weight and the overall look of the beginner's razor.

Razor is Heavy Metal of the right quality and should last a long time. The top part was too tight with the machine screw. I was afraid of breaking it so I spent 10 minutes figuring out how to separate the pieces. It will not work if the bottom piece is put back upside down. The picture guide didn't help. Cheap metal and poor quality blades will not hold up sharpening. In general it works fine.
