When I originally bought my Ryzen 7 2700x, I received it in a box with an ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING motherboard, but shortly after that this motherboard started to do that block had to turn off the power switch on the back of the PSU. I wasn't sure if it was the motherboard, the processor, or the memory. Shortly thereafter, I decided to upgrade to 32GB of storage, which consisted of 4 sticks of 8GB of storage each. The ASUS motherboard would only allow this if the memory was running at a lower memory frequency. At that moment I decided to buy this motherboard with good reviews I read. When I replaced my CPU and memory, I was pleasantly surprised that all of the issues I had with an ASUS motherboard didn't occur with a Gigabyte motherboard. I haven't had any freezes in over a month and I'm also able to use all the RAM at 3000MHz with no compatibility issues. The only thing I had to check was that when I update the BIOS my RAM speed drops back to 2133, but I only had to reset it to 3000 and everything was fine. So far I've been generally happy with the board.
