Quality electronics

I used it to disassemble a 2011 Macbook Air about three times. Other five-blade screwdrivers have reviews that say they come loose after a few uses. Not this one. It's in good condition. Definitely worth a few euros more. Walk slowly and don't use too much force.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Not automatic

Does the job

I bought it mainly to replace a few loose screws. If you don't have any stuck screws, this will likely work for you. The screwdriver wasn't of the best quality and it ended up falling off along with two of the screws. Most likely next time I will take a replacement for Philips. Luckily I had another 5 blade screwdriver and enough screws to get the job done.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Security

Came with a single screw that still doesn't fit

A bit pissed that the bag with the screwdriver and screw had a hole in it. 10) was not stainless steel and did not have a suitable thread for the A1398 MBPS. See picture, the bag was undamaged, for some stupid reason it must have had a hole.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Product works as described

Nothing to say other than that both the screws and driver included in this kit worked great on my mid 2015 15 inch MacBook Pro. I have no idea why some people are complaining about screws that don't fit, or why they are complaining that the tool either sucks by not pushing it down like he/she didn't on the other two screws after they replaced my battery as part of Apple's battery recall: Taking this route was MUCH BETTER and EASIER than going back to the Apple Store, which was supposedly a huge

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Hard to say

Ideal! Computer Components

After verifying that the Phillips screws weren't there, I checked again and found that they weren't. Miscellaneous). I'm pretty sure a screw came out due to too many computer crashes. I carefully tightened the remaining screws, bought rubber feet for two of them that came loose and I'm very, very satisfied. Super fast delivery too!

Pros
  • Hands-Free Operation
Cons
  • Some Problems

FITS 2011 MAC AIR LAPTOP

Perfectly fits 2011 Mac Air 11" laptop. I was missing 4 screws and was able to replace them in less than a couple of minutes with no problems. One note: there are 2 sizes of screws in this package. I don't know why or what for but I couldn't use the longer of the 2 sizes, only the smaller one. There were only 4 smaller sizes in my package. The bottom of my laptop was open causing my trackpad to malfunction. Now is it fully closed and everything works fine.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Simple DIY technique

Because my children kept banging my MacBook on tables, the underside has come loose. At first I thought I'd have to go to the Apple Store for a solution, but I didn't want to pay a hefty fee. Just a couple of google searches showed I needed screws and there were more than enough. Enough screws in case the problem comes up again and they are ridiculously easy to screw in which saved me a lot of money and wasted time.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Very expensive

Product works as described

Nothing to say except that both the screws and driver included in this kit worked perfectly on my mid 2015 15 inch MacBook Pro. I have no idea why some people complain about the screws not fitting or why they complain about what kind of tool sucks. I didn't have a screw on my laptop, no thanks to an Apple tech who either left it whole or didn't push it down as he/she didn't on the other two screws after putting my battery in the frame Apple battery recall. Going down this route was MUCH BETTERโ€ฆ

Good magnetic p5 for Macbook Pro

I wanted to clean my fans in my laptop because it was out of warranty anyway. The little Philips didn't work, so I got a specific screwdriver. I figured the magnet wouldn't make much of a difference, but it made it so much easier since the screws are VERY small. The screwdriver wears out a bit, but I can definitely use it again. If you want to do it every day or very often, look for something better. but this one can definitely be used many times. It was also very easy to remove stripped screws

Pros
  • Compatible with Macbook Pro Retina A1398, A1425, A1502 2012-14.
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Works well if treated properly.

I have a 2013 MacBook Pro and a year or two ago the 1.2mm (very small) screws on the bottom started loosening and one even fell out. I bought this screwdriver after reading a number of reviews of similar tools. I noticed that most of the tools have high ratings even though 10-15% of the ratings are 1 star. Most of these 1 star reviews complained that the item failed due to tip detachment. I ended up using the Whizzotech tool and can say the errors are due to too much torque. Due to the smallโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The perfect set of replacement screws for your Macbook Pro Retina.
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price
