Review on Kolpin 98020 Handy Throttle by John Ghattamaraju

Based on other reviews I doubted we would be happy with the Handy throttle. However, the two little drivers in the family didn't like driving with the thumb throttle at all because their thumbs couldn't reach it. So I thought it was worth the chance. I wasn't even sure if it would fit the Suzuki KingQuad as it's parked an hour and a half away and I couldn't find any handlebar size information. It turns out to be 7/8 inch and the swivel adapter fits fine. The hardest part of the installation was removing the original rubber grip. I somehow couldn't bring myself to cut it off. It's very intuitive for an old cyclist and makes it a lot easier for me to control than a thumb throttle, but it's very fast and doesn't need much turning. The latitude that allows you to turn it sideways so you can do that Still being able to use thumb throttle is a little unnatural at first as you have to make sure the actuation lever is pressed against the throttle before you start driving. We've logged probably an hour or so so far with no issues.
