One of my college roommates had the same desktop makeup mirror and after envying her for a year I finally bought one. This mirror is a dream. Definitely one of the best purchases I've ever made from Revain. Super strong thick glass, looks simple yet sophisticated, perfectly sized and reflects the light perfectly. I really only ever use the 1x side (no zoom) for makeup, but the 10x side is always fun too. If you are considering this, just get it! A great gift for girls who go to school and share a bathroom with their dorm/floor neighbors.
