I recently bought a women's casual shoulder bag similar to this one. I bought the pearl silver one for spring/summer and this one for fall. I haven't used this bag yet, but I really liked the other one and got a lot of compliments. Since they are similar, I'm sure I won't have a problem. However, both bags have no outer pockets, but an inner pocket that can be removed or attached. What I do is in the pocket on each side of the latch, I put my keys or I put a water bottle. It's not designed for that, but there's room, so I use it.
