The good thing about heavy weight is that it offers a bit more overall warmth than a regular thick or thin t-shirt. It's 100% cotton and it's a tagless shirt. He has a good seam. This is not a shirt or more formal occasions. It's basically a durable t-shirt with 3 henley buttons down the front and a chest pocket. You can't go wrong with Dickies.
