Review on Enhanced Griffin iTrip FM Transmitter for iPod nano 2G by Robert Cole

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great Investment in Portable Audio & Video

I was attracted by the price and some other reviews. I have previously had two other FM transmitters for my iPod nano and this was the best purchase of the three. My first was one of the cup holders that you plug your iPod into and it charges when plugged in. This was good for long trips as it charged the battery while playing music. The transmitter power was very low and every time someone passed me in another car with the FM transmitter I was forced to listen to their music until we were far enough apart for my transmitter to regain control. i hated it Another problem was that carrying it around and transferring to other vehicles was a headache. You need to have a seat that's close enough to plug in, and it's designed to fit in a cup holder, so guess what, that's one less drink to carry in cup holders (when the car's chilly enough to have cup holders in the front row). . Location). The last one was a gift so I don't know exactly how much it cost but I know it wasn't cheap. In my opinion, this is not the best choice in terms of performance and price. Then I bought a Belkin device that ran on two AAA batteries and plugged into a 2.5mm headphone jack. It had decent portability as it wasn't very big. The problem was that it performed just as badly as the other transmitter I had (maybe even worse) and it ate AAA batteries like a betting dog. I got it cheap so the price I paid wasn't bad. Although buying a cheap poop is still not very pleasant. I ended up buying iTrip. It is wonderful. It's basically the same shape as my iPod nano (2nd generation) and only adds the bare minimum when plugged in, in my opinion. i love this shop I don't have to charge it separately. I don't have to buy batteries for it. It comes with a cute little velvet pouch for storage and portability. I leave my iPod plugged in and put it in my bag when I'm not using it, and it stays clean and scratch-free when I put it in my bag. Oh yes, it fits in my pocket with the transmitter attached. The iPod battery powers the transmitter, so yes, it reduces battery life. So what, although it's worth the exchange to me. Potentially it could even be almost 35-40 percent less, but still worth it. The main reason is that it has a mini USB port which I can plug into my cigarette lighter or just a USB cable and charge my iPod (using the term "charging" it charges very slowly when plugged into a transmitter is connected, so I don't recommend charging your iPod this way). While charging with a transmitter attached is poor, the surprising feature for me is that I can use the same travel charger cable to charge my phone or keep my iPod on the move while cruising down the street. Another amazing thing is that I have not yet been disturbed by a strange station. I'm not saying it's the most powerful FM transmitter, but it's the most powerful I've ever used. In fact, it even seems to transmit cleaner when I have the charging cable plugged in (this may be because it's grounded to the vehicle, but not sure). This is the best iPod FM transmitter I have ever seen. i love this shop I highly recommend buying one if you are considering one. I don't usually even take the time to fill out these reviews, but I really love this job. If a slacker/househusband like me is willing to put in some effort, heed and follow this advice. I hate giving up on something for no reason, but I think I have to convince myself it was worth it. Have fun while listening!
