not welded but crimped.
Works but not welded just crimped. as was the last aftermarket part that cost me the engine. Do yourself a favor and run the heater hoses through the firewall and secure the clamp inside the car. this is GM's design, but most of the time people take the '' shortcut and just run up to the firewall causing the aluminum tubes to sag and leak.
