I don't know if it's OEM, if not it's a perfect fake.

Perfect fit. Easy installation. If you're buying OEM, this one looks, fits and works perfectly. Maybe OEM, I don't know. I know it's half the price of those I've bought from others for my other Ch'ewis.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Doubtful

I bought this heater core to replace a leaking factory core in my 1994 Suburban. This core looked almost identical to the OEM part it replaced. The fit was perfect and the price was way better than OEM. It's *made* in China, but right now I'm not sure what's wrong.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • A lot of stuff

Not the exact size of the original.

Supposed to fit my 1995 Silverado 1500, however the tanks are deeper on both ends so the fit is not correct. There is a mounting clip to keep it in place. Well you have to make your own for it to hold properly. Not me. I pulled the cover over it as best I could and connected the hoses. At least it's not dripping!

  • New
Cons
  • Nothing here

not welded but crimped.

Works but not welded just crimped. as was the last aftermarket part that cost me the engine. Do yourself a favor and run the heater hoses through the firewall and secure the clamp inside the car. this is GM's design, but most of the time people take the '' shortcut and just run up to the firewall causing the aluminum tubes to sag and leak.

  • Ideal for a small home

Perfect Fit Original Core

My '91 K1500 noticed a drip from the heater box and having recently replaced the heater core on an '86 I was really afraid to change it. However, GM actually made the swap easy by disconnecting the hoses under the hood, then removing a few 7mm bolts and lowering the access panel, rather than removing the entire heater block. The Spectra Premium heater core is exactly the same as the OEM core, so there are no surprises. Took me about half an hour from start to finish.

Works best for engine cooling and air conditioning

Fits perfectly on my 1988 Chevrolet C1500. By far the hardest part was removing the screws to gain access under the dash. The YouTube video kept mentioning six 5.5mm screws. I had eight 7mm screws and was only able to remove seven of them. It is enough to replace the heater core, which is great after removing the foam gasket from the old one and sticking it on the new one. Too bad I couldn't put all the screws back in place, but I managed to keep them tight together. After everything was…

Best value for money second to none

I installed the heater core today. He walked very well. Got in just like the original. I have a small leak outside under the hood where the pipes come from. doesn't work but it's not a heater fault it's my horse's fault other than it's awesome. I mean, I rode it today. I have a good hot heater. I don't have it That's why I use clamps Best deal I've ever found Didn't think it was that easy Great price May be like the original Thank you

My wife lost antifreeze in the cabin.

My wife had an antifreeze leak in her 94 Suburban so I figured it was the heater core. It turns out that is not the case. ;) I replaced the core with this new one and when I started the car the hose connection from the manifold to the heater core broke. It turned out that the coolant flowed through the hose from this cracked connector into the passenger compartment. Oh well, I wish it was just the core because it would be easy to replace compared to removing a torn hose fitting from the…
