It's so easy to use. Once attached to the chain, all you have to do is close the magnet and screw it into the base, allowing the magnet to hold the necklace in place around your neck. The magnet is quite strong for its size and can be screwed together to increase security for heavier chains. I bought this set for my mother who is 93 and has difficulty putting on short necklaces due to arthritis. Gold and silver tones suit jewelry as well as fine jewelry. They pair well with heavier, bulkier necklaces and, due to their size, are best paired with those alone, otherwise they would be too heavy for a delicate chain. (There are smaller magnetic clasps on the market that come in both gold and silver tones for finer chains.) Would definitely recommend and was a pleasure working with the seller.
