The lock is smaller than expected, a little fiddly to lock and unlock and (seriously) doesn't fit in my Lenovo X220 laptop bag when fitted. Because it doesn't sit flush, the inserted piece that connects the lock to the laptop is visible and moves a bit, making it weak and vulnerable. I'm not sure how easy it would actually be to break it, but looks like it might be worth a try (if you're interested in stealing my laptop). Which kind undermines the main purpose of this gadget. In comparison, I had an earlier, slightly larger and stronger laptop lock of a similar design that was stuck and had no hack entry (I made the mistake of giving it to someone who needed the item more than I did during the time). He inspired confidence and caused me no discomfort.
