Totally worth the price I know there are LED candles similar to Luminicious at a lower price but they really can't compare. I have several sets of the above candles, they work well, no complaints. But I'm a candle mom, and I've had a place where candles were needed. Ooooochen bought a set of Luminicious candles. Purchasing (my wife) raved and raved again and again about how good where are these candles and how realistic are where. She is not happy with the other realistic LED candles I have purchased. And of course their comments are all I need to validate my choice. And since she has a black belt in shopping, this is all you need to know about her credentials and how valuable her opinion is in my selection of these candles. Now back to candles. The candles arrived in perfect condition and very nicely packaged. They flicker with flames on candles as I mentioned earlier where I'm no doubt a step or two above other candle sets from different vendors when it comes to realism. The flame "burns" with an even light and the candle body casts a beautiful shadow effect, just like a real candle. The candles are well made. The battery compartment is strong. Which is important to me because I use rechargeable batteries, which are slightly larger in diameter than an alkaline battery. Speaking of batteries, I highly recommend building up your AA and AAA battery stockpile gradually, if your budget allows. If you have batteries (I use Panasonic Eneloop) then here is a setup tip. Once the batteries are in the bay, lift them slightly while inserting the two tabs of the battery door into their slots, then push the other V-shaped end into its slot for a perfectly level installation. I believe this helps due to the larger diameter of Eneloop batteries. Of course, if you use alkaline batteries, you can just plug them in. Candles have a one year guarantee. I had a few questions which I was answered quickly and to my satisfaction with the seller's excellent customer service. The results of some of my inquiries to the seller - they stand behind the product. I started using these candles on 09/10/2018 and so far they are working perfectly. And of course I highly recommend Luminicious candles and I recommend the gold finish as your choice, it adds something and makes a very beautiful presentation. I hope this helps you choose a candle.
