I thought it would be great for my daughter because she hates lying on her stomach. I followed all the directions to get rid of the smell and avoid mold, but after just one use the inside was filled with mold. It's not safe for a child in my opinion and I wouldn't recommend it or buy it again, would happily return it because I'm disgusted.

It was fun while it lasted. In fact, I wrote on IG that it was one of the best gifts because my daughter really liked it. I'm stopping this, however, as I've just noticed mold growth. I filled it out just after Christmas, it's now mid-January. It did not last long. I also add water and vinegar. I think if we don't let her drink water everything will be ok? 🙃

My little man loves to lie on his stomach on this mat. He is fascinated by water, fish and seals. He's having fun, which helps both of us keep our heads up. I let it air out for about a week before using it and the plastic smell went away pretty quickly. If you're worried about mold like other reviews have suggested, just add some white vinegar to the water to prevent it. It's definitely worth it and very cheap.

She seems to like everything so far! I don't understand why people complain about taking care of this. It's easy to fill and empty. I'll empty it after a day or so and let it dry overnight then refill it the next day, no problem making sure it doesn't get moldy. My little one loves this so much when he's in his sweater that he goes nuts crawling around looking for it and walking straight towards it. Be careful, my baby is teething and has tried to bite her a number of times, so please be considerate of your baby when playing with her. Even if you walk away for just a minute, your child may drown if they bite a hole, all the water will flow straight up, and your child's face will go straight into it. The light and small box makes it a good gift. When I opened it I was surprised by the size. The plastic looks good, but time will tell. My only complaint is that they never mentioned prep (no big deal). The rug has a very strong plastic odor, so the instructions state that the rug should be rinsed inside, cleaned outside and air dried for a few days.
