Your baby will love it.
My little man loves to lie on his stomach on this mat. He is fascinated by water, fish and seals. He's having fun, which helps both of us keep our heads up. I let it air out for about a week before using it and the plastic smell went away pretty quickly. If you're worried about mold like other reviews have suggested, just add some white vinegar to the water to prevent it. It's definitely worth it and very cheap.
