Great for nail art and diamond painting

I make gel polish for a mother of 5 daughters who also loves to paint with diamonds. I kept hearing about these wax gem setting tools and drill bits (plastic bits on diamond paintings) and jumped at the opportunity to try it. First they arrived individually boxed and wrapped in plastic. The packaging is secure and keeps it securely in place. The plastic boxes come in handy when the pen is no longer in use. The pen is the size of a ballpoint pen, smooth and filled with small plastic crystals that are beautiful and fun to use. One end is a metal nozzle that diamond artists fill with pink wax to accommodate burs and manicurists use gems. I hate it as much as the others I've tried. only pain. The winning part of this is the wax tip. I can't believe I waited this long to try this. For lack of a better word, there is a soft, vanilla-scented cone of wax. Wax easily picks up the drill and applies it to the image or nail. The trick is to use a light hand, if you press too hard the wax will flatten out. I've found that it's possible to gently press it into the mold or use the side of the wax cone, but it's really better to be careful when placing items. If you need to move something after you put it down, I've found the metal end works well for moving parts. I'd rather have a flat bit on that end to help with placement. Once the gems are in place, gently press down to ensure they stay in place. The best part is that you don't have to reload the wax!
