If your humidifier is not found in the Mi Home app, try choosing one of the China or USA regions. In my case, the humidifier worked when I selected the US region. Indirectly, this can be determined as follows: when the humidifier is switched to the setup mode, a Wi-Finetwork appears with the name of the type zhmi-humidifier-cb1 (cb1 is an indicator of the US region). I'm not sure, but it looks like this applies to devices with a European plug, and with a Chinese plug, you need the ca1 region - China. If the humidifier is detected in the application, but does notcomnnect to your Wi-Finetwork, and the Wi-Fi light blinks frequently, this means that the access point iscomnfigured incorrectly. Firstly, the humidifier only works in the 2.4 GHznetwork (the application itself will not let you choose another one), and secondly, in the US region, only Wi-Fi channels 1-11 are available for this range (in 2022 1-13). If your Wi-Fi hotspot operates on channel 12 or 13, the humidifier will not be able tocomnnect to it, although it will see it. When setting up Wi-Fi, it is recommended to either leave auto-selection, or fix one of the channels 1, 6 or 11 in the Wi-Fi settings (these are the channels on which you and your neighbors will interfere with each other the least, you can find out more why this is so. for example here: ).
