Let me start by saying that the quality of the handrail is excellent. However, it only comes with screws so you can attach it to posts or strong latches if you're lucky enough to mount them in a wall. This is a 24 foot bar. The lugs are typically 16' on center (although there are economical installations with 24' lugs). Like me, you'll probably need to mount this board to drywall or similar cavity wall. The Moen video accompanying this article shows digging in with Moen's Securemount. I assumed the brackets would accompany the bar. They don't. They sell for around $11 per unit plus tax and shipping if you're not a Prime member. This significantly increases installation costs. I should get Securemount in two days and get the job done. All of this should have been clearly explained in the description. Again, the bar looks great and I expect it to work great once installed.
