We bought these mugs for our 7 month old daughter. We wanted to eliminate leakproof cups completely and teach people how to drink from a cup. It was the perfect size for her small hands. She barely grew two teeth and was afraid that if she bit him, the glass would break. Luckily, the glass is strong enough to withstand bumps and falls onto a carpet or rug. Unfortunately, they break if they fall on a tiled floor. We saw this first hand when I was walking out with her high char and accidentally knocked her over. Also, the mugs were a great purchase for my daughter who has a weaned baby.
