Stopped working after 8 months

Bought as a second screen for a laptop. I don't like the case/stand so I took it off and bought a plain stand that looks neater. The screen itself worked pretty well with some minor connectivity issues until one day it just stopped working. Took about 8 months. It is clear that the components are cheap. I do not recommend this product.
