First let me say that I love the design of these headphones. They fit me well, are comfortable for extended use and to be honest the sound quality and noise cancellation are excellent. The problem is that at certain frequencies (tested with the same song/show on all three settings) the headphones occasionally "clap" loudly, and often continue to "clap" after start-up. Sometimes it makes it easier to turn them off and on again. But it's uncomfortably loud and annoying. Update: I contacted the company and they just said to get a replacement and take a look. The replacement does the same. I bought based on reviews but I have 2/2 units with issues; which tells me to beware of positive reviews. Will be returning another pair for a refund and looking for a better brand.
