I just received these cables today and have been using them for 3-4 hours. I like the way they are constructed and they are definitely heavier than the cables that came with my KZ KS10 PRO IEMs. I can't tell any noticeable difference in sound quality between the two cables, but I'm not young anymore. and my hearing at high frequencies is not the same. Both sound equally (really) good to me. If I had to choose one thing at all it would be this. I had to change the bend of the cable near where it connects to the headphones as they came out of the box with a twist angle that caused the headphones to try to pull themselves out to wriggle into their correct position in my ear. At this rate I wouldn't end up liking this cable, but I don't think it will be a problem after wearing it for a while. For this reason I am deducting a star from my final rating. All in all I see the main difference between this replacement cable and the original is that the original cable has a 3.5mm right angle whereas this cable has a straight plug. And this cable should be more durable.
