Bad bag, worse customer service

I bought this bag for work this year. The bag contained everything I originally hoped for. Large enough to store files and a laptop on the way to and from work. It was comfortable to wear and the only gripe was that the quality of the leather is rather mediocre. My only complaint soon turned into a nightmare with this bag. The connection between the strap and the bag broke within two weeks of owning the bag. The gap widened quickly and I contacted Polare for a replacement under warranty or, if not under warranty, easy and reasonable after-sales service considering the bag was used every 14 days. Polare told me they would reimburse me for the repair costs instead of replacing the bag. I've received quotes from several repair shops, many of which cost between $50 and $100. I advised Polare who said to proceed with the repair instead of sending a replacement. I repaired the bag, albeit poorly, and requested a refund or alternatively a new bag and I borne the cost of the poor repair. Polare customer service never responded to my follow-up emails and I was never able to reach a customer service representative to speak on the phone. Long story short, the bag broke within 2 weeks, Polare did not replace the bag as stated in the warranty and did not refund my repair costs as promised. Instead the company ignored all messages and just waited for me to leave. The only good thing about this experience was Revane's willingness to pick up a late return. I do not recommend this company and will never be a customer of this company again. I would like to give 0 stars.
