Does its job well for the price
This item doesn't completely remove the insult of broadcast yay-em QRM from your receiver, but it does deaden the broadcast yay-em enough to reduce the load on the receiver's external interface and built-in filters. I use this along with "Uno" and now I can use the HF boost at every level without overloading the front end and I no longer hear/see the next bible station every 20kHz on every band. Good value for money, worth a few extra bucks for an aluminum case above the 'bare bones' list.
