Great speakers for the price I use them for surround sound they sound great on my Yamaha v685 I don't use them for front speakers I doubt they have enough power to have you believe that They're into the film but for what I use they're worth every penny and at $40 a pair you should be sensible. (Update) They do a terrible job with bass. long-distance cyclist
