I chose this for my daughter's future haunted house costume. We've tried different types of "scars" in the past, but none of them worked as well as we had hoped. Those were simpler sets. This is a really good package. It contains wax, granular "blood", liquid blood level, alcohol resin and skinwax oil. Each one is separate making it easy to adjust and adjust the scar mix as needed (plus there are quite a few scars for the few days we will need). There are also two different types of application sponges and a spatula. In terms of use, it works very well. It stayed on the face and is variable, so it goes with whatever we need at the moment. It wasn't difficult to work with other makeup (not to blend, of course, but to cover edges and such) to achieve a really beautiful look.
