So I bought this item in February expecting to move from my current location in June. This was my only 'gift to myself' that I bought with my 2019 tax money for myself and my dog. This item was quite expensive but had decent reviews and was exactly what I was looking for in a pet camera: a camera that can do two-way video and audio. I didn't even consider that the product might not work or break. Silly me. Yesterday I finally opened and installed the package. Out of the box everything worked perfectly, everything was configured and assembled, everything worked perfectly. Last night was supposed to be the first night I went to a friend's house during this Covid shit and I was excited to be able to do it and still take care of my dog. Low and here I get where I'm going. I use my phone app to check my dog with PetChatz and it tells me the device is disabled! I was so angry! I spent all this time setting it up for the last night and for some reason it's offline and I haven't been able to communicate with my dog all night. So this morning I get up and think I'm changing, what's the problem, it can't be much because it's brand new! Maybe just disconnect and reconnect or disconnect and disconnect will fix it. nope Completely blank screen. It won't do anything. And I have no idea what to do now as my Amazon return window for this item closed on March 17th and I can't find a link to contact the manufacturer. So now I'm stuck with a $300 thing that is completely useless to me and I'm very frustrated. This product would be perfect for my needs if it actually worked! I will change this rating to a more positive one if someone contacts me and tries to fix the issue.
