I liked the idea, but somehow it doesn't fit. The first broke after a week, the second after two weeks. They hold position through friction, but the plastic feet that support the device (phone, etc.) aren't strong enough to withstand the friction of changing position. The device was used on an office desk to support a cell phone. He rarely corrected himself, but still failed. The exchange also failed. I really wanted this product but it just isn't right.
