I did a lot of research before deciding on this adapter and not Metabones. I mainly use manual focus so this adapter works great. First, the GH5's autofocus is terrible, to say the least, and the addition of Vitrox only makes things worse. I currently use a Sigma 35mm 1.4 and a Canon 50mm 1.8 with an adapter. Slow focus chasing is one thing, but how loud it gets is the main hurdle. If you have a mic on a hot shoe, it picks up that noise from the lens very easily. An extra f-number is the only advantage over Canon or EF glass. There's a reason the metabones are over $$$, I would 100% stick with it as I used my friends and the autofocus was way better. I almost bought a Sigma 18-35, but there are scenarios where using autofocus works better and I'm skeptical about viltrox.
