The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

Some pros: I use with canon 50 1.8 and sony nex5t. I like the resulting picture. Its cons: At the most open fifty-kopeck aperture (final 1.3), the picture becomes soapy. I have not figured out whether it is possible to turn on autofocus using manual focus.

There are pluses and minuses, think before you buy.

It is worth buying only if there are a lot of old full-frame optics, (at the same time, your Sony carcass is cropped, which is actually a rarity) I already have as many as 4 lenses left from kenon, but if you have a few of them or have the opportunity to sell, it’s better to buy relatives and not suffer with adapters) Pros below: It doesn’t creak, it doesn’t play, it’s made firmly and soundly, it’s great to sit on the bayonet like a native. Lenses in the camera settings allow you to choose…

4 months test on my GH4 and here it is.

4 months test on my GH4 and here are my results: Pros: - Aperture control - Can use my Canon lenses - Lower F/Stop lens) - Autofocus sometimes works, sometimes not - Failure of the Lens mount appeared after 2 months but works 80% of the time

Neat and does its job in the price range

I like this product for the price, the glass could be a bit cleaner, it makes a clicking noise when adjusting which I don't like and this seems like it , when it's evaluating the incoming light and should automatically adjust, takes a step, it's stepping into lighter or darker situations rather than gradually flowing in, which I don't like, but for its purpose I think it does the job focus automatically and it works with most lenses. It doesn't work well with the Vivitar 8mm lens. So keep that…

Loose fit; suitable for occasional use

Mounted on Olympus em1mk2 lenses with PenF mount - ef It seems that all units suffer from a lack of quality control. Mine works fine and allows all features, but with mf Zeiss lenses the aperture value doesn't convert properly. The hole doesn't line up exactly, which is a bit of a concern, but as it's rarely used I hope it's ok unless they're specialty lenses. Not recommended if EF lenses need to be mounted frequently. Cheaper than Metabons, but also lower quality

At first I was very impressed, however.

I did a lot of research before deciding on this adapter and not Metabones. I mainly use manual focus so this adapter works great. First, the GH5's autofocus is terrible, to say the least, and the addition of Vitrox only makes things worse. I currently use a Sigma 35mm 1.4 and a Canon 50mm 1.8 with an adapter. Slow focus chasing is one thing, but how loud it gets is the main hurdle. If you have a mic on a hot shoe, it picks up that noise from the lens very easily. An extra f-number is the only…

    IF it works, it's great.

Firstly I'm pretty sure this is the Mark I version and not the II that people recommend. My mistake. I bought it to use the Canon 24-105L with the Panasonic GH5 for video. I set the focus to infinity and when the camera works it's great. Even pressing AF works when needed. But. It never works The camera keeps freezing so that you have to pull out the battery, the firmware is updated, the mount is adjusted. etc. The aperture stops working intermittently or can be set to "wide open" when the lens

    Poor optics in mine

I recently got my hands on a Metabones ultra-fast accelerator and was considering using an additional Canon lens on another Micro Four Thirds camera, so I went with this one , hoping it would be that's as good as I've heard. Well maybe some? But it looks like quality control is a big issue for Viltrox. I filmed the rough scene with a 4k pocket film camera with an 18-35 Sigma Art lens. Metabones were sharp and clear. Viltrox was blurry and had chromatic aberrations. I went with f4 from f1.3 and…

The image is soft, blurry, with color fringes

I ordered this speedbooster together with GH5 and Sigma 18-35 f/1.8. The auto focus is poor, the image is soft, blurry and has color fringes throughout the image (as seen in the attachment) compared to a Metabones speed booster. I watched many youtube reviews before buying and most youtube users said it is very beautiful and sharp in the center of the picture. Apparently this is not the case that I have. I requested an exchange and the new one does the same. In a studio shooting test I did…

Good adapter although FREEZING is a deal breaker.

At first I was very happy with it. The picture is very good, I would say comparable to Metabones. The autofocus is really not good. I didn't expect it to be like this so it's not a deal breaker as I shoot video and don't use much autofocus. The in-camera aperture control is also a very nice addition. The main downside is that the adapter will cause the camera to freeze to the point where you have to remove the battery to reset it. It's a real problem when you're in the middle of a frame…

EF f/1.2 does not work and image quality is poor

Quality control is a big issue for Viltrox. I picked up this adapter recently and had problems right away. The first thing I noticed was a soft halo in my wide open shots. The footage was blurry and had chromatic aberrations. I went with f4 from f1.4 and the Viltrox looked slightly better but the reason I use fast glass is so I can shoot wide open in low light. I tried adjusting the Viltrox by rotating the inner lens but couldn't fix the blurry effect. I liked that it worked with most of my…
