I bought it for the associated heavy furniture lift. I knew from the start that I wasn't going to use the four plastic sliders that came in the box. Instead, I bought some 5" square felt pads to quickly slide underneath on my own. They supplied and installed a two-story washing machine. The day after delivery we found that there was a problem with the socket behind the washing machine. I called an electrician but they told me they wouldn't move the washing machine anyway. And that I would have to give them access to an outlet to service it. How am I supposed to move this super heavy washing machine that stands on a pedestal and weighs God knows how much? And the washing machine was between the cupboards. How do I get to the back corners of the washing machine so I have enough leverage to lift the corners? With the heavy duty lifter in this kit it was possible to lift each corner just enough to slip under a heavy duty 5 inch felt glider. And I did it all myself! The lifter handle was short enough that I could tip the other between the washing machine and the closet, where the slight angle of the lifter bar allowed me to use the leverage I needed. It is VERY well made and sturdy. Excellent purchase! The electrician and I had to push heavy washers back and forth. But thanks to this handy little lift, everything worked out. GRATITUDE!
