Bought these to lift weights at the fire department gym. I wanted a pair of black neutral shoes so the look and style would be okay. I've had my eye on them for a while, but when my cousin's husband got the same pair for Christmas and loved his, I felt it was a sign. They are heavy and tough. If I plan to do serious cardio at the gym, I wear a different pair of shoes. When I wear them to workout and wear them the rest of the day my legs hurt in the evening. Let me stress that these shoes are not flexible. They will be uncomfortable walking in. I'm not a professional runner and not even an avid runner, I'm not a jogger but I did my fair share of running for the exercise. Would I buy them again? no I prefer another brand and will now return to them. I wouldn't even recommend them for permanent use.
