I bought this power supply to replace the Toshiba C55-B5300 satellite model. Doesn't look like it, but fits. It's actually better because the end that connects to the computer doesn't stick straight out of the car. The connector is shaped differently so that the cable points backwards instead of straight to the side. That way, you're less likely to hit the fork or put pressure on it, causing it to break. After years of using the original power cord, I must have banged and bent the plug too many times before something inside came loose and it stopped working. Toshiba charges over $50 on its website for a replacement original PSU. I thought it was funny so I bought this one. It fits and works well. Also, it doesn't heat up.
