So far I've enjoyed listening to music with these headphones. The sound is clear, although I would have liked more bass. Lightweight and comfortable, they don't put pressure on your ears like some other headphones. I was pleasantly surprised that the noise cancellation actually works. I sat right under the ceiling fan and as soon as I turned it on the wind noise was gone. I haven't tested them in very noisy environments, but I definitely think it's better than no noise-cancellation at all, especially at this price point. I wouldn't even try to compare them to high-end headphones, certainly not Bose, because that's not their purpose at all.
