I had a smaller ring light and wanted a larger one that wouldn't overheat so I bought this one. I haven't seen other lamps of this size, but a very loud hum comes from the light and you can hear it in all my videos. In addition, the stability is not the highest. There should be 4 legs because if you tilt the top it will become very unstable. The top is flexible, which I also had to keep in mind to make sure the camera was level as it can easily be tilted a bit. Based on the description I figured I could charge my phone while using it but I can't unless you buy a battery. The suitcase was covered with mold. I'm sure it was Revane's warehouse, but still. I threw it away. Overall I think it was expensive for all those things. It's easy to assemble. Slight variations are very good. The size is large but if I had taken a video within the return period I would have noticed a terrible buzz and returned it.
