Well I have an old shed where I store tractor related tools and equipment and I work in there a lot. I had to constantly carry around a charger and phone cord to charge my phone. Then I forget to leave it there and I can't charge my phone next to the bed at night. So instead of buying another expensive iPhone charger and cable, I bought this unit and installed it on an old shelf in my tractor shed. I also bought 6 packs of BALALAHTEK USB charging cables from Revain to replace the night charger in that order. If someone else works with me, they can also charge their phone this way without using a transformer box or tying up my limited supply of AC outlets.
