I used it on my Samsung Galaxy 9+ with a case and it's waterproof. I tested it in my sink first and then it was time for the real deal. I took it to the South Pacific, swam with manta rays, and it held out. Now for the downside. Because it's technically a bag, your camera will NOT work like it does in a dedicated hard case or even in real water. Camera. The flash is useless as the reflection from the plastic just bounces it back and blurs the image. The case, while sensitive to dry touches, would also be unusable underwater, but that's not the case's fault. It's just physics. The case itself WORKS as advertised, BUT because it's really just a fancy plastic bag, it has limitations due to physics and other real-world limitations. My suggestion is due to inherent limitations, it would only be useful for emergencies. If you want to take real underwater videos/photos for a long time, I recommend investing in a real water camera or for example a professional waterproof camera etc. I think that would be good, maybe for a swimming party in the backyard or other area with high exposure. into the water is very likely BUT I wouldn't use this when snorkeling or anywhere else where you are submerged for a long time and need to manipulate camera buttons etc.
