Works as intended! in cotton balls and swabs
I love these towels so much! They work as they should and leave my face clean pretty quickly. Just follow the instructions and wash it first, the lint will come off a bit at first, but that is production related. The only thing that might bother some people is that the darker or more pigmented your makeup, the more likely it is to stain the fabric. One of mine is stained by some sort of lipstick, but it's not scary and doesn't really affect anything. I recommend trying them, you won't regret it!
