I bought a set of 8 bags and immediately after delivery put each bag in closets, shoe closets and my husband's smelly car. After a few weeks I opened the tub with our extra (off season) shoes and was pleasantly surprised by the smell - nothing! It's the same with our everyday shoes, hooray! It took a little longer by car. I cleaned it thoroughly before putting the largest bag in the back seat. My husband sweats profusely after a hard night at work, and although the car is clean, its (erm) "smell" lingers. We had a particularly nice sunny day a few days ago, so I took the opportunity to put all my bags on the railing of our patio to get some air. As I got into my husband's car, I noticed that my head wasn't immediately thrown back from the usual awkward air! Wow! This is a great set, very well made and comes in a heavy duty plastic zip pouch which I have reused to store my assortment of extra bobby pins, ties and hair ties - a bonus!
