Review on 🧼 Lestoil Heavy Duty Multi-Purpose Cleanser 28 oz: Powerful and Versatile Cleaning Solution by Barbara Simmons

Last winter I bought an expensive silk blouse that could only be dry cleaned and was one of my favorite items in my closet. Unfortunately, the third time I put them on, there was a kind of grease stain right on the front. I took it to the dry cleaners straight away as they usually do a great job removing stubborn stains. But while they managed to lighten the stain a bit, they couldn't get rid of it completely. Not liking the idea of throwing away a $350 piece that's only been worn a handful of times, I left it hanging in my closet, knowing I could never wear it with a large, obvious stain down the middle. I came across a suggestion somewhere that Lestoyl can remove such a stain. I know the directions say not to use the product on silk or wool, but since my blouse was already ruined I figured I had nothing left to lose. Gently insert it into the fabric with your finger and leave for 5 minutes. I then washed my Miele front loading machine in silk (no heat, slow spin) with perwoll mild detergent and laid the blouse flat to dry. When everything dried, the stain disappeared. I held it up to the light and the dark grease stain that was there was completely gone. The texture of the silk has become a bit rough after washing, but after ironing, it looks almost like new, definitely wearable.
