This was a replacement for the original drive shoe that came with my orbiter. I use the Orbiter in my carpet cleaning business to move very dirty carpets before steam cleaning and to clean tile and grout. The first drive plate has held up pretty well considering how much it's been used over the years and this one is identical so I expect the same. Note. I modify the pad drivers by separating the top and bottom plastic pieces. I then remove the white double-sided adhesive and discard the side with all the little "hooks". The reason is that these little hooks rip the pads apart every time you take them off, greatly reducing the lifespan of your pads. After the glue is washed off, I use strong glue to stick the velcro strips on. The Velcro fastener holds the pads perfectly and prevents unnecessary wear.
