Review on 505115 1-Light Wall Light in Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish by Design House by Akane Rajakumar

I didn't want anything fancy, just a simple attractive hall light that would run off unswitched wires in the wall. It was a fairly easy setup, even with my rudimentary experience with electronics. The instructions did not take into account one small detail: you cannot put a glass cap on a light bulb; First you need to install the lampshade securely, and then you can screw in the light bulb. Also, I didn't name the dimmer because the advertising gave the wrong impression that the switch at the base is also a dimmer. It's just a classic on/off switch. Perhaps the seller meant that it can be safely used as a lamp connected to a wall dimmer. In the hallway between two doors it still serves this purpose well (pictured with a 40w LED light - the light only illuminates the top)
