Excellent gloves in terms of looks and comfort. Soft, elegant, lined with cashmere. However, they are designed for short distances to the office either by car or on foot. I live on the Oregon coast. In winter, cold winds blow off the Pacific Ocean. I've worn them on 3 different 45 minute outings with friends and every time my hands get cold. They're not windproof, but they weren't advertised either. I still gave them 5 stars because they are of excellent quality, look stylish and match the promotion.
