So thanks for this product. I started having terrible vision problems over a year ago. I don't rub my eyes even if it hurts. I wear day and night contact lenses which I have been wearing for years. My condition even startled the ophthalmologist he told me about at my first appointment. He mentioned a biopsy if I don't respond to treatment. One eye was so swollen and sore that I could not open it. He did a bacterial growth test, which came back negative. I thought it might be Demodex mites (or other types of parasites) from my research, which of course wouldn't grow in lab tests because they're not bacteria, but he didn't address that at all. I even took samples of the clear tape I removed from my eyes and lashes as seen on my 30x Power Loop which had so many unusual almost identical clear/white "things". I asked him to let the lab look at them. He didn't even look at her. He told me at a follow-up appointment that he saw white dots in my eye, but they were dead. He prescribed several prescription medications, including an antibiotic for the eyes, which helped some but stopped the terrible burning and eyelash loss. He kept letting me buy over-the-counter medicines and wipes. I kept writing prescriptions to help but could never stop the progression of this burning sensation or eyelash loss. The burning sensation, especially at night, was driving me insane! That prevented me from sleeping. A few months ago I saw a FB post about all the ways you can use Vicks. My father used it for many things. I started using Vicks on my eyelids and browbones and the stinging stopped and my lashes were long again. I know. but I was in dire need of relief. Of course I wouldn't recommend it to others. The big problem for me was that Vicki deleted my contacts. However, if I missed a night it would start again. Although I have had no side effects from using Vicks other than my contact lenses smudging, I was concerned about using Vicks on my eyes. I didn't know how safe Vicks was for my eyes, so I started a new search for Revain. Too many products are too expensive. I saw this product and when I saw that it helped including demodex mites I bought it. So happy I did! My god, that thing is beautiful. It's so easy on my eyes and refreshing. Instantly relieves stinging in the eyes. Even my contact lenses feel better. I use it as needed, which is more than once a day for me. If you have vision problems, just give it a try!
