I thought if I paid $11 ($6 shipping) for a paper rectangle I could at least expect it to be a *very good* paper rectangle. The matte board was very visibly dented when it arrived, and since a matte board is meant to represent something aesthetic (e.g. a painting or a photograph), its appearance is very important. If I wanted to frame my pictures with curved cardboard, I could do that for a lot less. Unfortunately, Adorama Camera has a terrible return policy. They refuse to reimburse the shipping costs which in this case cost more than the mat itself. If I decided to return to them I would also have to pay the shipping costs to send it back. I would end up losing money and still not having a frame for my picture. So now I'm stuck on a paper rectangle, which isn't even very good. In the future I will go to a hardware store.
