I was so excited to finally get this machine so I can start vacuuming and sealing individual portions. However, the first thing I tried to vacuum pack was green beans. I was going to put individual portions in the freezer but the machine sucked out some of the leftover liquid so it did NOT vacuum. I then tried vacuum sealing some pork chops and AGAIN it soaked up some of the liquid from the marinating. Well the reason I bought this gadget is the reviews. Let me tell you that it sucks up nuts, dry food and fresh vegetables perfectly. . . however, it will NOT vacuum seal marinated meat and/or cooked vegetables. Also, I paid for the warranty on this product. If the machine doesn't work as advertised, then I consider myself cheated!
