This version is for occasional use only. Note that in the presence of a constant 38kHz IR carrier, this version of the IR receiver will emit a pulse duration of approximately 300ms and then turn off until the carrier is removed. This is good for many applications, but not for me. I need the output to be active as long as the media is present.
