Review on Flex Lite 188 Black Xtreme by Javarie Malick

This is an AMAZING fan! It easily beats the two crappy fans I upgraded from. My thermostat is on 180, keeping my operating temperature at 180 in the South Florida heat with the A/C on! There is so much air that I can feel it under the car. You can definitely hear how it works. but it's not too loud. One thing that makes it so good is the large body. and a powerful and efficient fan that covers a large area of the heatsink. Mounting brackets not shown. but they are great too! They can be mounted on any of the four sides and easily modified to fit almost anything! I wired this fan through a Bosch relay and a cheap imperial adjustable thermostat. My relay worked. both thermostats (turns on at any controlled temperature). and the air conditioner switch (the fan keeps turning on when the air conditioner is on). They are isolated by diodes, so if the air conditioning doesn't work. the fan stays off until the thermostat reaches the selected temperature. Of course, you could just give the ignition constant power (via a relay) so that it always turns on with the key. This fan can cost a little more than cheap crap. but the quality and performance of the Flex-a-Lite 188 is worth every dollar!
