I recently first tried this resin as part of medieval model making when I was looking for a product that could function as a stained glass window in a rose window. Here are the results, which made me very happy. Please understand this is a clear resin which I added some mica powder to as a coloring agent (also bought from Amazon) and it worked great. I first cut out the windows on a CNC machine, then covered one side with tape, flipped it over and filled it with resin. I made several other windows without coloring for a clear effect. What I have found is that smooth sanding will naturally scratch the surface of the resin and this gives the appearance of a frosted window. However, when I applied a polyurethane coating to it, the windows immediately became transparent again. Mixing the product was easy - I didn't have graduated measuring cups so I looked at the 50/50 mix in two identical glasses and tried to hold each side. the same and it worked without problems. I mixed thoroughly following the instructions and was happy to see that I didn't have much of a problem with bubbles during the drying process. I ended up ordering a second batch for future projects - highly recommend. Interesting and easy to use product.
